Sawyer Heights Market

Updated: Jan 26, 2019

Kenli and I were looking for something fun to do one Saturday, amazingly we did not have any thing on our agenda!

I called a friend, whose daughter is also friends with Kenli, and they were IN! We decided that we would check out the Sawyer Heights Market. We were so impressed, and honestly could have stayed hours longer. It was so fun to see all of the local artists and their creations. Everything from framed butterflies to pottery and of course, canvas art.

I would encourage you if you decide to check it out to go HUNGRY! There were so many booths set up offering a ton of delicious food (definitely try the dumplings and popcorn if they are there!). We tried a few things but we had already made plans to stop for lunch on our way home and didn't want to ruin our girls lunch.

Following lunch we went over to Tiny Boxwoods and had lunch. Following lunch we walked around Thompson & Hanson. They have beautiful plants!! Kenli is on a succulent kick and so we picked out a pot and several succulents. Did you know they have special potting soil for them? I had no clue! She also found herself a small succulent for her room while at the market so it was perfect timing to find an additional one for that cute pot!

Thompson & Hanson had a great price on pansies so we added a few flats to spruce up the yard and we were headed back home.
